A little shelf above my oven sits a collection of sorts. A wooden butter mold shaped like a cardinal, a rather coincidental find that resembles my pve design logo. Another mold which my mother gave me, a cookie, "Springerlie" mold for a cookie that is relished during the holidays.
Keeping a lemon out and my hand squeezer reminds me to add a bit of juice, or zest to my dishes. What is on your sunday shelf?

Do you make Springerlie??? I love the anise flavor. Ha SPRING-EARLY!
Hope you enjoy this longer day~ a little more light at the end of our days~ ahhh, spring can't be far off now.
My Mother makes them and each year, I say that I shall give the Springerlie cookies a try. I too love the anise favor and the anise seeds.
A little more light, today - gives hope for a little more energy and a little more time to one's day! More projects and more things to accomplish!
Enjoy the light of today!
A yellow mortar and pestle from Spain, a Bodum Assam Teapot and my trusty stockpot!

I enjoy your Sunday shelf! Don't you just love your hand squeezer? I use mine all the time, endless I'm squeezing a lot of lemons than the electic one comes out. Enjoy!
This is pretty - makes me want a glass of lemonade - yummy!
:( We have no shelfs in the kitchen.
But if we had... my new pip studio teapot, some cookbooks ( Nigella Lawson, Jamie Oliver) and a Tivoli radio because I really need music when I am cooking.
The Four Seasons, by Joshua Bell...A photograph of two border collies belonging to friends on the Isle of Skye... a curved rock I picked up in St. James Park in London...all atop an Ina Garten cookbook.
Again....
A lot of those funny plastic colourful Allesi utensils and a few paintings that the kids have made.
