Perky packages sent by peppy players who are celebrating their birthday by giving to others.
Pretty ribbons tied on a round box full of sweet macarons from Vanille patisserie in Chicago. I would show you the cookies, but they are gone.
No, I did not eat them all myself, I promote sharing.
Care to share why you blog? Could it be for the perks, the benefits, the daily infusion?
Just give me one reason, or one comment why you visit. You know your comments make my day a little perkier.
LOL...Patricia you are too sweet! You must find time to visit Vanille!!
ReplyDeleteMy fav of blogging is the friendships that are forming and the sharing just like friends do.
xoxo

ReplyDeleteBeing a stay-at-home-mom, I love how blogging keeps me connected to the "outside world" without ever having to leave my home! I have met wonderful, inspirational people from all around the world since becoming a blogger. It amazes me daily how awesome this blogging community is!

The people and the connections: THIS is why I blog! Great kind folk abound. We just need to open our eyes--or mouths in this case. Hope your treats were yummy!
ReplyDeleteBlogging keeps me in touch with the world I love and enables me to 'meet' and form friendships with like minded people who I would otherwise have not had the privilege to meet.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention the eye candy...(I would have liked one of those perky cookies) xv.
I started, quite simply, because it was an easy, user-friendly way to gather my thoughts about my new home, and the new life that came with it -- I continue to for the new friendships and inspirations it has brought me. Who'd have thunk?!
ReplyDeleteA place to put my thoughts and writing. And the connections are absolutely wonderful!
ReplyDeleteJackie and Vicky Archer read my mind! And also this Community sense / feeling Mrs. Blandings talk abouts. And I just love the Sharing part....whatever it is, well mainly the nice stuff....like cookies!!!
ReplyDeleteBlogging for me fills my lonely days in a foreign country. The new friendships made through blogging and ones left behind in Utah keep me smiling.
ReplyDeleteSharing your thought with people, meeting new people and being inspired by all that you read and see.
ReplyDeleteOhhh... yum! I love and hold very dear the friendships I have made. It's like starting your morning with a friend~ having coffee together and chatting back and forth. You were, afterall so very encouraging for me to get this up and running.
ReplyDeleteConnections! So many amazing people I would otherwise not have the privilege of knowing - like you Ms. Patricia!

ReplyDeleteI read your blog for the daily smile.
ReplyDeleteEnough said.

I think it started as a necessary tool where you somehow have a voice in the world. It then turned into a passion, obsession, compulsive ............. :)
ReplyDeleteJoking, I truly think it is the friendships you form with poeple you never met.
Blogging has allowed me to meet so many incredible people whom I would never have known. Writing and photographing for my blog makes me think creatively and constantly challenge myself to come up with new ideas and research projects. I hear from people all over the world and get their insight and inputs.
ReplyDeleteMy blog is a labour of love, but worth every minute I spend on it.
I started my blog as a place to put all the colours that bounce around in my head. All the wonderful, sweet people I've come to know have been an incredible, delightful bonus.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely box! blogging...sort of an entre into a community I had no idea existed before I inserted myself into it. Just nice to have these little virtual conversations with people, you know? And always interesting to see how people respond to my ideas
ReplyDeleteMIss PVE,
ReplyDeleteBlogging has opened up a whole new world to me of getting to know others and see all the wonderful creativity. It's about learning new things and sharing the wee little bit that I know!
Blessings to you!
What a treat! My favorite part about blogging is the amazing support system that builds through visits, chats, and honesty :) I LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteI blog to keep a journal of sorts: thoughts I'm thinking, beautiful sights, and wonderful new friends along the way.
ReplyDeleteinspiration, coming & going. And oh, the folks we meet!!! xoh
ReplyDeleteYummy and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky day for you! That package is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI blog because it allows me to help people (hopefully) think about making under their life and finding what is really needed within all their 'stuff.' And another great perk is meeting new friends and connecting with Jess LC customers.
-Jess!
Each and every comment is a perk to my day-

It started as a way to get my words out there but it's evolved into more. I get so much more back. The inspiration, the community has been wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWhen you're a consultant working on your own, it's just like getting on the phone and shooting the breeze for a while! And it's a great keepsake to look back on...
ReplyDeletePatricia:
ReplyDeleteThough I've been lapse, I blog to satisfy my inner muse...I don't really share my blog with many of my daily people because I want the freedom to be able to write anything I want without thinking...and just trying out ideas.
The wonderful part is meeting sensational people like yourself! This is such a soft place to land...thanks!

I have been blogging for 2 months now and I am enjoying sharing information with friends close to home and strangers across the world!
ReplyDeleteI blog to have a voice again, to re-enter the world as a writer but on my own terms, and to hear the multi-layered and always friendly echoes from the blogosphere.
ReplyDeleteI love that blogging allows me to share my passions, and connect with people who share the same interests as me. Plus, it is easy to do while at home with a small child.xoxo
