"Feel Great" signed by Bobbi Brown to me!
Bobbi Brown and Patricia van Essche
signing her book, "Makeup Manual"
Makeup artistry has intrigued me ever since I was old enough or allowed to wear any. One of my most favorite makeup artists is renowned Bobbi Brown, founder of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. She is the author of four bestselling books on beauty and her products are sold worldwide.
The invite arrived and I jumped at the opportunity to meet Bobbi and have her "autograph" my book. The event took place at Lord & Taylor and it was quite an excited group of attendees all waiting to have their book signed or for a makeup consultation with one of her talented artists.
Bobbi sure knows how to put her best face forward to inspire others to do so with the help of her easy steps to looking and feeling good.
Oh, Patricia lucky you! You and Bobbi both look great. Two wonderful artists together.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun. I love her cosmetics- I use a few of them regularly and have two of her books. I like how un-made-up they feel. Like having a little "glow" without the heavy stuff- very natural feeling. And she has the best lipstick shades-hands down!
ReplyDeleteYou are glowing along side of her~
Very very cool. I'll bet you do FEEL GREAT!!
ReplyDeleteMe too ladies, I prefer au natural over the made up look which is one reason why I love her products, the brushes are key! Great brushes do make a difference!

How fun was this? I've always loved Bobbi Brown! Great to see your lovely pic with her.
ReplyDeleteI walk out the door wearing her Blonde and Grey eyeshadows everyday!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Love your pink scarf.
ReplyDeleteI bet you enjoyed that, I have read a lot about Bobbi Brown and she is someone I really admire she has really built a very strong brand.
ReplyDeleteLucky lady. Looks like you had a good time.
ReplyDeleteI must go check out her new book.
Yeah- it looked like a fun time! I enjoy going to book signing, standing in line meeting interesting people.
ReplyDeleteI actually haven't purchased any of cosmetics, but I'm going to look into it now!
I'm glad you got a photo with Bobbi! You look fabulous! Just like Kwana says "Two wonderful artists together" xoxo
Very lucky! I love her make-up philosophy and line. I discovered her make-up about a year before I was married, and I have to say I loved the way my skin and make-up looked that day!
ReplyDeletePatricia, I wish I could have been there! I love Bobbby Brown.
ReplyDeleteAgree with Debra, love the glow her cosmetics radiate.
How cool, and it's amazing because you always look so beautifully natural! Who would know you had such a love for it!
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting, you must have had a great day :)
ReplyDeleteShe is my favorite!!! I love how she used makeup to give a natural look.
ReplyDeleteI heart Bobbi Brown--will wear only her lip and eye colors! She "did" my eyebrows once and sternly told me to go to Bliss (when still only in Soho) for some brow shaping. Of course I did . . . Would love another visit with her!
ReplyDeletemiss cavendish-
ReplyDeleteoh how fun to be bossed around by bobbi about your brows.
