social butterfly
As an artist one of my favorite things about what I do is the research, the scouting and the honing in on what will suit the client and or recipient of my work. My net captured this social butterfly which was illustrated to symbolize a perfect beginning. - spreading her wings and fluttering about with such beauty.
Take a moment to visit this "Joy of all trades" - bringing grace to whatever she touches. You will always find something perfect to begin your day. The "butterfly effect" is a known phenomenon that the fluttering of one butterfly all the way in Rio can effect a change in Chicago. Sounds sort of like "blogging" - right! Now who doesn't like a perfect beginning or a happy ending, which do you prefer?
Happy endings are way better. The beginning can be spoilt by the middle.
ReplyDeleteSweet pic! Perfect beginnings can help get you through the messy middle, but even if it's a happy ending, it IS still an ending.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I think I like a happy ending- that seems more apropos given a few bumps in the road...
ReplyDeleteJoyce's header is beautiful and reflects her kind and graceful ways. There is a lovely quote about a butterfly- oh I must go look it up.
I love a happy ending but A Perfect Beginning is a perfect way to start the day. Joyce is just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteKwana,
ReplyDeleteI can always count on you for a perfect beginning even when the ending may not always be how I thought is should end. You have a gift my friend. (like that Joyce!)

Love that top image (I also have a butterfly on my post). and Happy endings are the best.
ReplyDeleteHow creative and beautiful! I'm looking forward to the perfect beginning of this spring!!!
ReplyDeleteMy dear friend- You are truly an amazing person! You make me shy and blush... Thank you!
ReplyDeleteMy mom always tells me if I would have my way everyone and thing would be happy from beginning to end.
Beginnings are a way to start off on the right foot and a good foundation for the possible wobbly middle and holds strong for the happy end.
Enjoy and make your day a golden one (mine has started off as one)! xoxo
Love that header, you are so amazing!
ReplyDeletePatricia, I love this! be sure to check, I have nominated you for this contest http://artbykarena.blogspot.com/2009/01/pay-it-forward-and-share-luv.html
ReplyDeleteLove the butterfly image... I agree with almost everyone else - happy endings (but it does help to have a perfect beginning!)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words and illustrations...congrats to Joyce for such a nice mention!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful header! You are so talented.
ReplyDeleteI saw this a couple of days ago and thought how wonderfully lovely it was.
ReplyDeleteI think, although both are nice, I prefer happy endings! That's what I would wish for everyone.
Oh, the ending.
ReplyDeleteBut with my new little butterfly...the beginning is so sweet.
this is lovely! also, how lucky that you live by blue hill -- what a gorgeous part of the world :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks so stunning on Joyce's blog...a perfect beginning indeed. (Though I think I'm more of a happy ending person...I like it when things turn ou OK. :-)
