Are you "checking it twice"- your shopping list that is. With only a few days til the Holidays, each of us are ticking our lists, mailing cards, giving gifts, and making merry. Are you shopping "on line" or in shops? Tell me your favorite shopping spots as I would love to gather a list for a holiday shopping guide.

You know me Ebay is my place. Have a very Merry XMas.
Anthopology always has quirky amazing finds, I've found a surprisingly large number of my gifts there (and at big discounts!). Also ebay!!
What a great idea, Patricia! I have found Amazon to be so great, you can just get anything on it! Also, Smart Bargains. com and The Childrens Place. com (free shipping!!)

Right now I am just on the run with a haphazard list that keep evolving. Eek! I hit the mall and some discount stores too picking up whatever catches my eye. I always love Lord and Taylor for the moms and grandmothers.
Love the sketch!
Online, online, online. There are a wonderful array of children's stores that I tap for my kiddies. The less store-shopping the better.
This year I scored a great gift for my husband at Gilt Groupe, clothes for the kids at The MiniSocial, and my favorite toy stop is Back to Basics Toys.
I also tend to be very frugal...there is nothing I like better than a good deal, so I am on many email promo lists.
For friends, I usually hit Anthro too. LOVE that store. Such a fave.
As most know form my blog, my favorite place is The Backdrop in Woodstock, IL They don't have a website or blog. The blog should hopefully happen next year. Another great place has been ETSY and some wonderful artists (one is Paloma nest- Caroline is a sweetie and Rae Dunn).
Great idea my friend! xoxo
I love ebay too--but it's a place you would need to shop throughout the year to find just the right thing for everyone. Of course I love their vintage things best. I have decorated an entire Christmas tree with small pre 1950s glass ornaments gathered from ebay over the years.
Amazon.com is great for book giving---check out the used booksellers--who also have new books at greatly reduced prices.
Oh, I forgot about earthlyadornments.com
a wonderful site for vintage jewelry!
I've used the gift guides on design sponge and real simple and cup of jo this year, so have bought from many online retailers. We've been snowed in with no mail delivery for days; hoping to get the last few packages delivered by Christmas!!
Etsy, Etsy, Etsy. I just found the coolest artist there who makes fabulous purses from recycled wool sweaters: karenmeyers. I ordered myself a cool purse and it is on its merry way.
Amazon is always a favorite. Also, this year gift cards for parents to eat out for dinner. Sachets a friend makes that are beautiful and inexpensive! Time with the children and their families, even the week after the holidays, which is a gift to me!
Love your blog--just discovered it via Lecia at A Day That Is Dessert. What a wonderful talent you are :)
Holiday shopping? I got most of it done before we embarked on our travels, did a lot of baking and handmade stuff (michaels crafts is my dream supply store!). but i'm hitting up williams sonoma and the department stores for a few last items. and i love kiehl's for special stocking stuffers like super rich hand lotion and body washes!
I've been shopping all over this year, but the best places I've found deals were at the outlets. The Wrentham Outlets to be exact- they have had awesome sales at Banana Republic, Burberry, Saks, Kate Spade and so many more. I was wishing the whole time I had more money to do shopping for myself, but I have to remember this is the season of giving.
Almost every on my list is getting a gift from Etsy.com or Amazon. I simply haven't had any time to shop in the real world!
frenchgeneral.com
is a fun site. Lot of pretty textiles, jewerly, books---just go and take a look. I always enjoy this site.
That illustration is beautiful and I actually know where Munsey Park is. I drive by there all the time and I got my wedding dress around there at the Wedding Salon of Manhasset!
So Christmas shopping. I did the majority of my shopping at Amazon. I was able to get lots of different things there and the shipping was great. I also ordered from Overstock and got great deals. Plus alot of people in my life this year got tickets to events so ticketmaster came to the rescue. Plus last week I made some finally purchases on www.tobi.com and they are have a 30% sale everything! So I got a great deal on some jewels for my sisters.
I love online shopping! I haven't really had to step into any stores.
All of my shopping is done now, but one of my favorites is definitely J Crew, both online and the stores. Etsy is also a great place for unique finds.
why, www.etsy.com of course!~
I have to say I do most of my shopping online. Amazon is a favorite of course - they wrap presnts beautifully! I also shopped at the A+R Store (see my blog, last Friday's post), and Etsy.
I also directed the people who wanted to treat me to Amazon and American Apparel.
I'm a bit behind on my shopping. We have been so busy filling orders before our Christmas break that I had no time to shop till now.
However, I had a bit of a car accident over the weekend, so I'm stuck at home on the sofa. My dear husband is finishing up our shopping tonight!
Merry Christmas to you dear Patricia!!!!
