in-fusion

Here is my infusion of green, like having a cup of fresh steeped green tea. It came from here.

See my lovely hand blown glass ornament hanging in my kitchen window. I have a thing for green. It is one color that goes with everything. Each day I look at this pretty and think of her. She sent it to me. How sweet, an in-fusion of warmth and light to my day.
Several years ago, I painted my kitchen pear green in high gloss. Every day, it makes me feel happy and fresh. So - do you have something special that infuses you and your day. Tell me~

  1. That is so beautiful. She is such a sweetheart. I have a little plant in the kitchen window. It's nice to keep something there to greet you in the morning.

  4. Stefan,
I think I am leaning towards the kitchens that you post, white, natural and very functional.

  5. Love green. The color is taking over my home as it makes me feel happy and peaceful.
As for kitchens, I am about to have a new kitchen built. I thought I wanted warm woods, I looked at all my tear sheets from years of collecting what I wanted in my dream kitchen- all white! Clean, uncluttered and functional. I want it filled with light, many windows and great appliances.

  10. Patricia, your ornament is absolutely beautiful (as is her blog - I hadn't seen it before)! I also admired the other glass pieces in your window and the color of green you chose for your kitchen.

Living next to the ocean infuses me and my day, whether it be sparkling and sunny, foggy, snowy...the view is really mesmerizing.

  14. I am obsessed with kitchen windows... mine saved me when I was hand-washing 24 bottles & nipples over the course of each day. I always imagined that in homes everywhere, there were people doing the exact same thing that I was, at the exact same time ;-)

  18. What infuses me with delight is walking into my living room every day and looking out at the view of the city and the water from my large bay windows! I also love this shade of green, my sofa and chair are that colour.
