The holiday season truly is a time for all to embrace their inner child and enjoy the wonders of the season. Children along with pets are miracles. The love they bring is so innocent and pure.
The above wee lad and lassie are going to grace a special holiday card and surely spread the joy of the season.
What are your favorite memories of the season that release childlike qualities in you?
I am always trying to think of ways to bring traditions into our home the kids will remember...tis year, I am going to cover the livingroom entrance with Christmas wrapping paper and my little one has "break in" too see what's there! Should be fun!
Tara, Again, I find myself saying- "That Tara, she surely does know how to have fun, even when she is missing days on a hammock!" Please take photos! pve
Trimming the tree and holiday lights alway bring out the childlike joy in me. I guess it's that feeling of anticipation. Love the illustration. So sweet.
I am a very traditional person when it comes to holidays...and Christmas is my fav! I have to have everything the same as my mom did it for me when I was little, or I get very upset. The BF thinks its really funny what a two year old I turn into at Christmas time and how I throw a fit if everything is not the same as my mom did it.
Gasp... OH Lordy Patricia!!! This is truly priceless! I'm sure who you did this for will be very taken back and teary eye I'm sure.
Growing up are fond memories... Since G and I have been married we take a night grab some hot chocolate and drive around looking at the decorations. Since moving out here there is a old mansion grounds that are all lite up- so we load up Kelly and whoever else and drive through. When the whole family gets together all the neices and nephews look for the pickle I hide in the tree. It is funny as they are much older they still love it.
I love bringing our family to a tree farm (that serves hot apple cider and popcorn!)and taking a ride on a wagon with the farm golden retrievers (and ours!) to be dropped off in the middle of an evergreen forest in search of a tree.
My grandfather had a tree farm (not a commercial one) and we'd trudge out there in the snow every year.
Oh Sara- Yeh! I am so glad that you were able to see what wonderful comments! Looking forward to seeing your card. Always makes me smile to get my art in the mail. pve

so sweet, i love this. :)
We make homemade gingerbread houses every year, and that is definitely our big holiday tradition (more so than the actual day with presents).
