There is something quite dandy about a dude dressed in a bow tie.
My dear Mr.PvE has been known to wear one around the holidays for an added festive touch.
I like a man in a bow tie, there is something quite special, a smart elegance in an understated way - (and I am not talking about the clip-on sort.) Give me the old fashioned bow-tie to make one handsome beau. Worn with a black tie, or sporting one paired with a bold striped shirt is an easy way to look spiffy. Get ready to tie one on.
Yes there is something wonderful about a bow tie! I love when my husband wears any tie!!
ReplyDeleteI think they're so cute! I wear a tie everyday, but not bow ties. This is embaressing to admit, but I have a bowtie or 2 at home, but i can't figure out how to tie them! i've tried SO many times -i get to the last 2 steps and mess it up! ARGH I have 4 or 5 print outs of how to do it from the internet and they never work!! One of my coworkers wears one every day, they're so dapper!
ReplyDeletehow about a cute PVE illustrated "how to tie a festive bow tie" card for the holidays? hmmm?

I completely agree...although, I might laugh my pants off if I saw my husband in one :)
ReplyDeleteI've always adored ascots too!
Oo how I love when the boy is required to wear a tux. I just love him in a bow tie :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so right. They do add a festive touch. But it takes the right type of man to pull it off.
ReplyDeleteI love men in bow ties and especially my husband. Lovely drawings!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. Very Cary Grant.
ReplyDeleteBow ties do look festive and seem to come out more during the holiday season. Very dapper, tux or not.
ReplyDeleteVery cute drawings. I am having a Christmas party next week and my nephew is going to be tending bar and I have asked him to wear a bow-tie. I can hardly wait to see him wearing it.
ReplyDeleteGood post!
My husband stopped wearing the bow tie. He is now wearing the black regular tie when he wears his Tux. I like it either way. He still fits into the same Tux from our wedding day 14 yrs old. He always looks so handsome when he wears it.
ReplyDeleteThis is the cutest little bow tie I've seen! Love it.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely takes a MAN to be able to pull off a bow tie and rock it!
Great bowties @
