What more could a kid possibly need than a globe to take one traveling and some legos to build a United Nation. A seed to watch grow and to water.
Simple bins full of organized supplies to have at the ready for an imagination to draw, paint, or make something using our hands and our minds.
Here is the office of the big kid o behind the creation of my kind of store. A mother of kids with an aesthetic and a mission to live with just the right amount of stimuli. How many of you have too much stimuli and need to get a new kid-o start?

You are so right. I have many once wanted poccessions I need to box up. In fact, just happen to have a stack of red "banker boxes" for just the thing. Then, as you have; pare down the stimulation to just the right amount!
Love the Kid O products. THey look like such fun. I need some more young grandchildren with whom to share some. :-) They grow up so fast.
Also loved your piece about your anniversary. Very touching and so well written.
karena,
funny, how once we store things away or get farther away from them, the clearer we see what is really needed for stimulation. less is more, is often the best.

I hope you are continuing to enjoy this rainy weekend. Indeed, I certainly felt like a kid last night when watching Harry Potter! Cheers!
Oh my goodness, I have just checked out your blog and looked at several of your beautiful sketches. I thought to myself "Her drawings remind me of JMcLaughlin"! Then somehow found a link to your site and discovered that you are the artist behind my beloved JMcL scenes! I just love your style.
Thank you for stopping by my blog! (I think I need one of your headers.) :)
thursday next -
cheers to all kids-at-heart!

petunia-
funny, yes, I am the JMcL artiste, behind all the scenes of shoppes, and things. love to design a header for you - coming up petunias. my pink petunias are nearing the end and time to re-place with some fall cabbages!

That room just looks so peaceful, which I love because kid's places are often so overwhelming and overstimulating. I'll have to check that out, thanks!
Also, I'm sorry I missed your call, chat tomorrow?
Hope you had a lovely weekend with your beautiful family!
Oh me, me. what a wonderful space! Thanks for the intro.
So cute. I am not a modern gal but for some reason the freshness always works with kids.
And, my dear, consider yourself tagged (see my blog). Blame our dear Kwana!
I have what I call an office but it has become the dumping ground for everything that doesn't have a home. I'm trying to correct this, but everytime I throw something out, three more items show up. I wish I were brave enough to do the 100 things challenge, where you cull through all of your posessions and live with only 100 items. How brave and liberating that would be!
oooooh I want that pin board !!! it's perfect !!!!!!!!!
