My quest for plants brings me to the local plant nursery. There is nothing more inspiring than a trip to a florist full of fresh green plants and items that make one want to get dirty! This year the plants and the pots seem even more amazing than ever!
Some hard working design devil is tempting me! Even the gloves this year look fabulous.
The colors, the containers and all the items that make my green thumb start to shake.
I wish I had green thumbs... Right now have trouble enough keeping my primroses alive on my window sill.

oooooooooh now I have suggested a Bougainvillea which you could train to grow up the hand rail if you like that sort of thing....another thought would be a Geisha Girl that you can cut into a standard shape....ie: tall trunk and beautiful round shape on top.....it flowers all year in a gorgeous deep violet-blue .... subtle vanilla fragrance....butterflies love it....will tolerate light frosts. For best flowering results it needs full sun. Prune to shape after flowering.....I can send you a photo of mine....I get comments all the time......anyways...it's a thought !!
ReplyDeleteThis is a bug I am hoping to catch. I weeded and pruned today...which is such a huge step. I can't wait to get to the fun part, but am completely intimidated. We'll have to see where this goes. I hope you continue to post about your future "green thumb" endeavors.
ReplyDeleteperfect =)
