lavender charm

The heady scent of lavender lured us over.
Planted in charming rows for all to admire.
We bought 3 plants for our garden.
You can visit Lavender by the bay here.

There is nothing so heady as the scent of sun-baked lavender. How marvelous, and what lovely photographs. Good luck with your plants!

One of my favorite sites and scents. We have a row circling our rosebushes, and their vibrant purple and luscious fragrance says summer to me. So glad you bought a few for yourself! Enjoy.

Isn't lavender one of nature's most fabulous gifts? I just joined a garden club and my first task was weeding the herb garden....and the lavender was profusive!!!

Love lavender, expecially when paired with pea gravel. I just planted 7 more lavender plants last week after ripping out overgrown azaleas.

Loved your comment about stopping to see you. I had flown up w/Ryan but maybe some other time. Thought of you when I left him at camp. He'll go to college in a year but I think your sons go next month? Hope all is well.

I may just have to make a detour on my way out to the Hamptons - I can smell the lavender already!

I love the scent of lavender too. Have you tried it in ice tea and lemonade? Yum...

Not sure when you are going on your little trip, but have a wonderful time. xo

You are singing one of my love songs here! The smell of sun soaked lavender wafts through my window on the sea breezes in the afternoon, mixed with a little rosemary and roses and a hint of jasmine... it is heaven!
Your photos are beautiful, and I am sure your plants will bring you much joy!
Thanks for coming by my little world, I hope to see you again!
